Bacon Wrapped Chicken
I love this bacon wrapped chicken. It's tasty and makes a beautiful presentation when sliced and served.
Cut each jalapeno in half lengthwise (de-seed and de-vein for less heat if you choose - I personally don't.)
On each chicken piece, put a 1/2 inch slice of cream cheese and 1/2 of a jalapeno, and then sprinkle with a little garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Roll the chicken around the pepper and cream cheese and wrap 2 to 3 pieces of bacon around it and secure with toothpicks. I lightly sprinkle the chicken bacon roll with McCormicks Montreal Steak Seasoning.
These can be cooked outside on the grill for 35-45 minutes or so. They also can be cooked in a 375 oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. The bacon will be crisp on the outside.
These are yummy! We've been making them long before I was low carb, so yes, everyone will love them.
