Bleu Cheese Dressing Recipe

This Bleu cheese dressing recipe will taste much better than those preservative laden bottles in the store that have a mile long list of ingredients that you can't pronounce. Just make your own; it won't take long. Thanks Cathy for the recipe!


  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (or 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup water)
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces Bleu cheese, crumbled
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder


Stir together sour cream, milk (cream and water), mayonnaise, and onion powder with a wire whisk until smooth. Fold in crumbled bleu cheese.

Cover and refrigerate for a couple hours (if possible) before serving. Will keep in the fridge for 10 days.
