Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe
This chicken cordon bleu recipe is made in the skillet and is low in carbs, too! Normally I would take photos of all of the steps, but since my camera battery died while I was cooking, we'll have to settle for a pic of the final product. After my husband tried it, he said, "Was this hard to make? It's good!" It's easy, and in my opinion it was even better leftover than it was the night I made it. The flavors really came together on day 2. Serves 4 Ingredients:
Directions: In a large skillet over medium high heat cook the chicken breasts in the butter/oil for 10 minutes each side or until browned. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet add the chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan. Add the cream cheese, cheese, cream, and ham. Heat to boiling, stirring often. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the inside of the chicken is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. What an easy chicken cordon bleu recipe! Hope you enjoy this skillet version. |
