Crock Pot Chicken

You'll love this crock pot chicken recipe! It's full of flavor and couldn't be easier.

  • 4-6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces Italian dressing
  • 4 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese
  • Basil, thyme, salt and pepper to taste


Place frozen breasts in crock pot and cover with Italian dressing.

Cook meat until tender (usually 6 hours on low).

You can stop here, and serve this as is. I tried it, and it was moist and tasty!! Or continue on...

Drain the dressing liquid from the crock pot and shred the meat.

Return to the crock pot and add the remaining ingredients to cook for one more hour.

I tried it over the top of steamed broccoli, and it was the perfect compliment. The richness of the chicken was perfectly balanced by the broccoli. YUM!
