How to Cook Mushrooms

Whether you're here to find out how to cook mushrooms, or you're an old pro on cooking mushrooms, this simple recipe will always please.

Ingredients:

  • 24 oz. button mushrooms
  • 1 stick of real salted sweet cream butter
  • 2-3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of Lawry's Seasoning Salt

Directions:
Take damp paper towels and wipe off the mushrooms.

These were large mushrooms that I had, so I cut them into thirds, but sometimes if they're small, I will leave them whole. I usually trim a bit of the stem off.

Melt a full stick of butter in a large skillet.

Add the mushrooms then sprinkle with garlic powder and seasoning salt.

Saute and cook down to your desired level of done-ness.

I personally like mine after 6-7 minutes in the skillet, but some will like it more and some less.

That's it - simple - and always good.
