Poppy Seed Chicken Recipe

This poppy seed chicken recipe is so very easy, and tastes wonderful.Ingredients: - 4-6 boneless chicken breasts (depending on size, use your judgment)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 16 oz carton sour cream
- 1 can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken and Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup finely crushed pecans
- 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Directions: Arrange chicken breasts in a 9 X 13 baking dish.

Season with salt and pepper. In a separate bowl combine sour cream and soup.


Layer crushed pecans and poppy seeds over sour cream mixture, and then drizzle melted butter on top.



Bake uncovered for 1 hour in a preheated 350 degree oven.This poppy seed chicken is really wonderful, and each time I've made it I'm amazed at how great it tastes. I've left off poppy seeds, I've subbed French's fried onions for the pecans, and it's all tasted fantastic, so I'm convinced you can't do it wrong.
