Roasted Okra

I used to love fried okra, so I came up with something new! I call it roasted okra, and I loved the flavor. I made homemade ranch dressing to dip them in, although truthfully they didn't need it. They tasted great all on their own. Ingredients: - fresh okra
- 3 Tablespoons of melted butter
- Sea Salt & Fresh ground pepper
- * Optional - powdered parmesan cheese
Directions: Wash and dry okra. 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice okra lengthwise and put on large baking sheet. 
Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. 
Optional - sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Put in preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes. You want the okra to get crisp and even can turn a little black in some areas.
