Tiffany's Classic Deviled Egg Recipe

In a world where everyone is trying to reinvent the deviled egg, as for me, I'll stick with my classic deviled egg recipe.  It's just hard to beat!

  • six boiled eggs, halved
  • scant 1/2 cup of real mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
  • paprika for sprinkling
  • Optional - if you like a sweeter egg, add 1 packet of Truvia or your preferred sweetener


Separate yolks from whites, putting yolks in a bowl.  Add salt and mash these up with a fork.  Add mayo, relish, mustard and mix well.  Taste now to see if it needs more salt.  It will be tangy and flavorful.  If you like a smoother sweeter finish, add sweetener.

Stuff into the egg whites.  Sprinkle with paprika.  EAT! 

I always say that I'll try some of these other recipes with avocado and bacon, etc, but the truth is, I love this egg.  I feel like I'd be hard pressed to find one that I liked any better.
